Greetings!
 Good
morning, all. I hope your summer is going well. There are a
couple of items I need you guys to email me about and some
announcements, but other than that, there is not much new to add to the
calendar.
First off, I need one or two more parents of 3rd-5th graders who are
willing to go to Camp Ten 10 with us as workers to email me and let me
know. The dates of that camp are Wednesday, August 5 (we won't
leave until the evening) through Sunday, August 9. Please let me
know if you are able to go with us to work.
Secondly, on June 24, the 3rd-5th graders are going over to West
Houston to watch the Power Team. The Power Team is a group that
travels around the country using demonstrations of power (like tearing
apart a phone book) to talk about the strength that God gives us.
We will leave the church building at 5:30 and return at 8:30. $5
is needed for dinner. Please let me know if your kids will be
attending this event.
Family VBS registration is now open. You can register online at www.mcoc.org. We have classes for all ages
(babies through adult). Also, the VBS tshirts will go on sale
this Sunday. The cost is $7, and we have kids sizes as well as
adult sizes.
