Our purpose is to provide a Bible-based curriculum and wide variety of learning experiences for children of Memorial families and those in the community.
Our goals for each child are to:
- develop a good self-image
- learn to respect others
- indulge curiosity
- develop necessary skills for social, emotional & cognitive growth in a loving and nurturing Christian environment
Classes:
1's and 2's - 2 days (Monday and Thursday)
3's and 4's - 3 days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
Hours:
9:30am - 2:00pm
Curriculum:
Bible based, Age and developmentally appropriate, Kindergarten readiness
Enrichment programs and Special Visitors:
Arts Alive! - Music and Movement, Chapel - led by our energetic youth minister
Hedwig Village Fire Department, Petting Zoo w/ pony rides, Police Officer
Fun days:
Fall Festival, Christmas Program, Pajama and Pizza Party, Go Texas Day,
Vegetable Soup Day, Splash Day, End of Year Program
Memory Book:
Commemorates your child's year at school, Pictures of all activities and Fun Days, Special artwork, Presented at the end of the year.
Teacher/Child ratio
Two teachers in every classroom - a much higher quality than that required by the state.
Tuition:
1's........$250 per month
2's........$250 per month
3's........$315 per month
4's........$340 per month
Registration:
Enrollment forms must be completed and a non-refundable registration fee of $195 must be paid in order to enroll a child in Friendship School. Waiting lists will be set up in the event a class is full, and you will be contacted as soon as there is a vacancy.
Friendship School is located in the Memorial Church of Christ building, just south of I-10 at the Echo/Blalock exit, directly across from Memorial Senior High School.
